Summary:
The book, Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing was manily about a boy named, Peter Hatcher who lived in an apartment building in New York City and was in 4th grade. He had a terrible problem. It wasn't his mother or father, it was his younger brother, Fudge. Fudge broke his front teeth when he was pretending to be a bird, he pretended to be a dog and ate on the floor, he wouldn't eat for days, he cut his own hair, he put stamps on their guests suitcase and he even made his father loose his job! Also when Fudge wouldn't do what he was asked, Peter had to show him the correct way. He had to show him how to open his mouth at the dentist's office, how to try on a new pair of shoes, and convince Fudge that riding a Toddle- bike was fun to ride for a t.v. commerical. Now Peter was extreamly angry when Fudge ate his turtle Dribble that he won at his best friend, Jimmy Fargo's birthday party. His mother didn't even care about the turtle. She just wanted to make sure her son was alright so she took him to the emergency room. Fortunally, everything worked out and Peter ended up getting a brand new puppy all to him self.
